MEDCOOLER Package
Most medications must stay between 36 - 46 degrees Fahrenheit and must NOT be frozen.
For this we make available a small and a large size .
This set up will maintain an average temperature of 40 degrees Fahrenheit for 14 hours in 100-degree heat, never dropping below 34 degrees and never exceeding 46 degrees.
Polar Bear Coolers are leak proof, sweat proof, and make traveling with medication safe and easy.
Medication is packaged in a number of ways. To be sure that we are on track with the space you need to contain your medication properly and keep it between the instructed temperatures, please make sure that the medication you have will fit into our
7.5” tall x 2.5” in diameter area for the SMALL MEDCOOLER Package (Shown Below)
or 8”x 5.5”x 3” area for the LARGE MEDCOOLER Package , as these are the actual storage dimensions of our medication containers
The SMALL MEDCOOLER Package includes:
1. One Polar Bear Soft Cooler - Superior insulation, leak proof, sweat proof Dura-Temp liner. Size Small 10” x 7” x 7”
2. Two PBC Techni Ice reusable ice packs.
3. One dry storage Med-Container w/ towel and built in thermometer.
Size 7.5” tall x 2.5” in diameter. Your medication must fit into this area. Keeps medication dry and safe.
4. One Freeze Indicator: Ensures that you will not unknowingly freeze your medication. The indicator bulb turns purple if your medication drops below 32 degrees Fahrenheit at any time while traveling.
This set up will keep your medication at and average of 40 degrees Fahrenheit for 24 hours in 100-degree heat never dropping below 34 degrees and never exceeding 46 degrees guaranteed!

The LARGE MEDCOOLER Package includes:
1. One Polar Bear Soft Cooler - Superior insulation, leak proof, sweat proof Dura-Temp liner. Size large 14” x 12” x 7”
2. Two PBC Techni Ice reusable ice packs.
3. One dry storage Med-Container w/ thermometer. Size 8” long x 5.5” wide x 3” Tall. Your medication must fit into this area. Keeps medication dry and safe.
4. One Freeze Indicator: Ensures that you will not unknowingly freeze your medication. The indicator bulb turns purple if your medication drops below 32 degrees Fahrenheit at any time while traveling.

6] This set up will keep your medication at and average of 40 degrees Fahrenheit for 17 hours in 80-degree heat never dropping below 34 degrees and never exceeding 46 degrees .
MED COOLER INSTRUCTIONS FOR SMALL COOLER
Please follow these instructions to keep your medication at an average of 40 degrees Fahrenheit for 24 hours.
1]Set your REFRIGERATOR to 36 degrees Fahrenheit.
2]Set your FREEZER to 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
3] Wrap your medication in a cloth then place it inside of the PBC med container.
4] Place the PBC med container with your medication inside in the REFRIGERATOR with the top open for at least 8 hours.
5] Place ONE sheet of Techni Ice in the REFRIGERATOR set at 36 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 8 hours.
6] Place the other sheet of Techni Ice in the FREEZER set at 0 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 8 hours.
7] After 8 hours and when ready to travel, place the lid on the PBC container with your medication contents inside.
8] Wrap the Techni Ice from the REFRIGERATOR at 36 degrees Fahrenheit around the PBC med container and secure it with the rubber bands
provided.
8] Then place it in the Polar Bear Cooler.
9] Take the Techni Ice from the FREEZER at 0 degrees Fahrenheit and arch it over the top of the package inside of the Polar Bear Cooler. DO NOT let the 0 degree Techni Ice from the FREEZER come in direct contact with the PBC Med container holding the medication.
10] Zip it up, buckle it down and you are ready to roll for 24 hours.
Please note: There is a freeze indicator attached to the inside of the PBC med container. If the clear ball at the top of the freeze indicator turns purple, this means that the med container has dropped below 32 degrees Fahrenheit and possibly frozen your medication. If this happens you should call your doctor.
MED COOLER INSTRUCTIONS FOR LARGER SIZE
Please follow these instructions to keep your medication at an average of 40 degrees Fahrenheit for 17 hours.
1] Set your FREEZER to 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
2]After activating the Techni Ice, place both sheets of Techni Ice in the FREEZER for at least 8 hours.
3] Place the PBC med container with your medication inside in the REFRIDGERATOR with the top open for at least 8 hours.
4] After 8 hours and when ready to travel. Place the lid on the PBC container with your medication contents inside and wrap the med container in the towel provided.
5] Take one sheet of Techni ice and place it in the very bottom of you Polar Bear Coolers.
7] Place the other foam divider on top of the med container, then the other sheet of Techni ice on top of that making a Techni Ice / foam divider sandwich.
8] Make sure that your med container is sandwiched between the foam dividers and does NOT come in direct contact with the frozen Techni Ice.
9] Zip it up, buckle it down and you are good to go for 17 hours. Please note: There is a freeze indicator attached to the inside of the PBC med container.
