I very appreciated the fact that I was finally able to find something to put my
insulin in to travel. I can't tell you the things I have been using to try and
make do. I tried calling everywhere in my area and could find nothing suitable.
I am planning on going back to Hawaii in October and I know this will be much
better than what I used in June. I kept having to refill a plastic bag with
ice cubes. I finally wound up with water by the time I got to Hawaii and also
on the way back to Atlanta. I knew there had to be something. Finally found it.

Good Morning Gillian, Yes, the pump came yesterday. He is all excited. Thank you
for the cream and the sample! Perfect timing. So, now we read until we meet with
the nurse. And, we have to keep our fingers crossed there is a cancellation with
Dr. Geller way before Ryan's appointment on Aug. 15th. Dr. Geller and his wife just
had a baby so he changed all his appointments for a whole week to stay home. I think

Yes, it arrived yesterday. Since I've started using insulin, I haven't stayed
away from home overnight. Next week I am leaving for a few days for a little
pleasure trip. On the Google search engine site, I typed in something about
traveling by car with insulin. I figured other people with diabetes travel, so
there must be a way. Your site was the first one produced by my search request.
I was so impressed by the description of the small pack that promises to keep cool
for up to 42 hours and is activiated by tap water. How clever. I haven't used it
yet. I hope it works as well as the description promises.
